Digital Marketer + Course Creator Role

Content & LMS Specialist/ Marketer & Digital Learning Specialist

ABOUT ALANTA CONSULTING

Alanta Consulting is a growing coaching, training, and HR consulting practice focused on personal, professional, and organizational transformation.

We design practical programs for individuals, leaders, teams, and institutions — blending strategy, inner work, leadership, and execution.

We are now packaging our flagship programs (starting with NEXERA) into high-quality digital learning products and are looking for a hands-on hybrid professional to help us in marketing, building, and launching.

ROLE PURPOSE

This is a hands-on hybrid role for someone who can:

  • Grow brand visibility and leads through digital marketing
  • Package coaching/training content into sellable online courses
  • Set up and manage simple, cost-effective learning platforms

If you enjoy both marketing and building learning products, this role is for you.

KEY OUTCOMES (FIRST 3–6 MONTHS)

Growth & Marketing

  • Consistent content across priority channels (LinkedIn + 1–2 others)
  • Brief client marketing opn 3 priority channels
  • Lead generation system (email list, WhatsApp broadcast, landing pages)
  • Clear customer personas per product
  • At least 1–2 active funnels (organic + light paid)

Digital Learning

  • Recommend and set up a cost-effective LMS
  • Package structured courses
  • Develop:
    • Slide decks
    • Learner workbooks
    • Assessments & reflection exercises
    • Video/audio scripts
  • Support first digital launch & marketing the other products

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Marketing & Growth

  • Create and execute content (posts, visuals, short videos/reels)
  • Run organic and small paid campaigns
  • Build and manage email/WhatsApp nurture flows
  • Track analytics and recommend improvements

Digital Learning & Course Creation

  • Design learner journeys and course structures
  • Create all learning assets (slides, PDFs, assessments)
  • Upload and configure content on LMS
  • Ensure a clean, professional learner experience

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

You are likely a:

  • Digital marketer who has built or marketed online courses, OR
  • Instructional designer who understands marketing and growth, OR
  • Freelancer who already offers “marketing + course creation” services

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience (or strong portfolio)
  • Proven execution — not just strategy
  • Comfortable owning work end-to-end
  • Strong communication and self-management skills

Tools familiarity (not all required):

  • Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint
  • Email tools (MailerLite, ConvertKit, Mailchimp)
  • LMS platforms (Google Classroom, Thinkific, Kajabi, Moodle, etc.)
  • Social & analytics tools (Meta Suite, LinkedIn, Google Analytics)

ENGAGEMENT & HOURS

  • Part-time | Remote
  • Estimated 15–20 hours per week
  • Deliverables-based with flexibility

COMPENSATION

  • KES 20,000 – 30,000 per month (Kenya / Africa)
  • USD 200 – 300 per month (Global remote)

Scope will be clearly defined to match compensation.
